How To Bring Cali To Another Home?

A friend of mine is really missing her home in NorCal, CA. She is stationed in Mississippi as of now and i can tell how much she wants to be home. I wanted to do something nice and make her a box with everything Cali but idk what to put in it. So far i’ve got nothing i can come up with… Any ideas please?

That’s nice of you to do but I am not sure what you can do. I am also from Cali and moved to Minnesota and I still hate it out here cause its very different from the lifestyle of Cali. I would suggest that you take her out to the city, maybe that would remind her of Cali and make her feel more like home. If she is currently staying in the suburbs I can imagine how she feels, but just take her out to see places and visit the city.

from Norcal: Jelly Bellys (made in Fairfield), See’s candies, almonds or pistachios or anything like that from a farmers market. wine from Napa or Amador County, a SF Giants hat or bandana, Folsom Harley Davidson shirt with the print of an inmate riding a motorcycle on the back. Golden Gate bridge stuff, Rice A Roni for fun…
